Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Global Empowerment Mission’s New Headquarters

Doral, FL – November 17, 2022 – On November 17, 2022, Global Empowerment Mission (GEM) opened the doors to its new Global Headquarters in Doral, FL. A ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted local leaders and top donors to GEM and was a celebration of its official opening and expanded capabilities. The new space serves as its worldwide headquarters for corporate operations and with nearly 60,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space, GEM can store up to 3,500 pallets of aid, about five times the size of its previous warehouse. Miami native, CEO & Founder Michael Capponi, established the organization in 2011 following the devastation caused by earthquakes in Haiti and has since expanded to serve over 300 missions in over 40 countries around the world. According to Capponi, “Our main objectives are to deliver the most amount of aid, to the most amount of people in need, in the shortest amount of time and with the least amount of costs to our donors.” GEM has a four-star, 100% rating with Charity Navigator.
