Miami Beach, FL – October 15, 2022 – Presented by Rhythm Foundation and Italian Trade Commission HIT Week, the annual showcase of the freshest Italian music, returns to Miami with a double bill by Cosmo and Diodato, both major pop stars in Italy – bringing a blast of Eurovision energy to US audiences. Rounding out the showcase will be other emerging artists and special guests.

Each year since 2010, Italian HitWeek brings to the US a selection of fresh Italian music that is “more than Mafia movie soundtracks and maudlin mandolin.” Rhythm Foundation presents the Miami series in partnership with Rome-based Mela Productions, with major support from the Italian Trade Commission, and with local support from the Consulate of Italy in Miami and FIU Department of Modern Languages / FIU Italian Club.

Over the last decade, HIT Week has showcases an amazing roster of Italian music – popular rockers like Subsonica, Carmen Consoli, Negrita; operatic hip hop from Caparezza; jazz from Nicola Conte; electro-taranta from Kalascima and Canzonieri Grecanico; world folk artists Erica Mou and Mannarino; urban sounds from Mama Marjas, Boom da Bash, just to name a few.
