Brugal 1888 Journeys Through 130 Years of Rum Mastery with “Wonders Await at La Casa Brugal”

Miami, FL – August 16, 2022 – In honor of National Rum Day, Brugal 1888– an ultra-premium Dominican double aged rum – presented “Wonders Await at La Casa Brugal,” at Villa Woodbine on Tuesday, August 16^th. “Wonders Await at La Casa Brugal” was an immersive, multi-space experience that transported guests to the tropical shores of founder Don Andrés Brugal’s home in the Dominican Republic. The activation celebrated 130 years of rum mastery with a behind-the-scenes look at how this storied rum is crafted and aged in the finest casks by generations of Brugal family experts. The evening began with a pier-side greeting that reenacted how Brugal Maestros would historically greet travelers once they arrived in the Dominican Republic. Following the warm welcome, guests journeyed into the magical aging warehouse for a sensorial, guided tasting session that brought to life the influence that Brugal’s hand-selected barrels have on the premium rum. Guests sat down at Don Andrés Brugal’s table for a dinner tasting experience celebrating the double aging processes and flavors, drawing parallels to our rum making process. The evening concluded at La Reunion Intimate in the Salon Bar – a recreation of Don Andrés’ favorite spot in his home where family and friends alike came together for one final toast.
