Miami Beach, FL – June 3, 2022 – In an effort to give the cannabis community an opportunity to safely connect, engage, learn and grow, Cannabis LAB held its 6th Annual Cannabis Law, Accounting and Business (CLAB) Conference and Expo on Friday, June 3 and Saturday, June 4 at Hyatt Regency in Miami, Florida. Cannabis LAB (CLAB), which stands for Law, Accounting & Business, is a professional industry association whose mission is to educate, connect and empower business professionals looking to enter or already in the cannabis industry.
As part of the conference, CLAB hosted its Annual CEO VIP Dinner at the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel South Beach, Miami, on June 3. Top CEOs in the cannabis space enjoyed an intimate dinner themed “Up in Smoke.” Ricky Williams, former NFL player and founder and president of Highsman, who served as the conference’s keynote speaker, was in attendance. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with a glass of Champagne and an acrobatic performance. The alfresco cocktail hour overlooking the pool featured “up in smoke” cocktails made with dry ice. Jarobi, a founding member of alternative hip hop group “A Tribe Called Quest,” performed a Hip Hop and Reggae set. Throughout the evening, guests had the opportunity to have their portraits drawn live by fashion illustrator Etienne Class. The evening concluded with cannabis-themed cake and cupcakes served by Frudéco.
The event was conceptualized by Aloré Event Firm for a top-notch experience. Infinity Sound Production provided the accent lighting and décor.
