Miami, FL – May 11, 2022 – On Wednesday, May 11, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science continued its LIVE@Frost Science evening lecture series with “The Future of Forensic Science” inside the Frost Planetarium, presented in partnership with the Global Forensic and Justice Center at Florida International University (FIU). Inspired by the museum’s special summer exhibition, Sherlock Holmes: The Exhibition, guests had the opportunity to hear from local forensic experts and scientists leading the way to solve mysteries and crimes. The evening was moderated by FIU’s Executive Director of the Global Forensic and Justice Center, Dr. Kenneth G. Furton. Panelists included Dr. Diego Cardeñosa (FIU, Institute of Environment), Dr. DeEtta (Dee) Mills (FIU, Global Forensic and Justice Center), Stephanie Stoiloff (Miami-Dade PD), and Selcuk Uluagac (FIU, College of Engineering). The event began with a welcome by Dr. Kate Carter, Director of Science Communication at Frost Science.
