Miami Beach, FL – April 30, 2022 – The World Polo League (WPL) Beach Polo World Cup, the largest and most well-known beach polo event in the world produced by Lifestyle Polo, took over the sands of South Beach from April 29 to May 1, attracting over 12,000 spectators to the three-day equestrian extravaganza. With a stunning setting just feet from the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean, the highly-anticipated, action-packed event combined elite athletic prowess with high-stakes panache. Over 120 horses and 24 of the best international polo players competed in high-stakes, high-goal polo matches each day. Team Casablanca, consisting of Grant Ganzi, Nic Roldan, and Juancito Bollini, took home the first-place trophy, defeating Team Richard Mille, consisting of Santos Bollini, Agustin Arellano, and Pablo Mac Donough, by a score of 11-7. Among the VIP spectators were Miami Dolphins players Xavien Howard and Raekwon Davis, Pitch Perfect actress Anna Kendrick, Wolf of Wall Street Jordan Belfort, Real Housewives of Miami star Larsa Pippen, and Grey’s Anatomy actor Sterling Jones.
