Miami, FL – April 20, 2022 – On Wednesday, April 20, the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science held a special Earth Day edition of its evening lecture series, LIVE@Frost Science, inside the Frost Planetarium. During “Imagining Miami’s Environmental Future” guests heard from three local scientists who are taking unique approaches to battle the impacts of climate change including, Dr. Jayantha Obeysekera of Florida International University, Dr. Katharine Mach of the University of Miami and Shannon Jones, Frost Science’s Curator of Ecology and Environmental Restoration. The Q&A session was moderated by Dr. Kate Carter, Director of Science Communication at Frost Science.
