North American Premiere of Alexei Ratmansky’s Swan Lake

Doral, FL – April 7, 2022 – On Thursday, April 7th, Swan Ball Chairs Kristi & Dean Jernigan and Jeff Davis & Michael Miller hosted 400 guests to celebrate the successful North American premiere of Alexei Ratmansky’s Swan Lake. Staged under a tent at Downtown Doral Park, attendees were treated to a lush tropical setting inspired by the Swan Lake production.  Special 3D display panels highlighting ”The Music”, “The Choreography”, “The Costumes”, and “The Dancers” adorned the event space.  A dedicated performance stage displayed production costumes and was later used to present the pas de trois performance featuring MCB Company Dancers Nina Fernandes, Nicole Stalker, and Damian Zamorano. Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez was recognized for bringing Ratmansky’s Swan Lake to Miami City Ballet with a surprise tribute by MCB Soloist Samantha Galler and MCB MCM Principal Rainer Krenstetter. Honorary Chairs Ana-Marie & Robert Barlick were acknowledged for their generous support of the Ballet, and Mayor Dan Gelber was presented with The Chairman’s Award for Leadership in Arts Education.
