Napa in Miami features a Grand Tasting, vintner hosted dining tables, an exquisite chef-designed dinner and spectacular auction lots – all to benefit CureDuchenne, a leading nonprofit organization whose mission is to cure Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Duchenne is one of the most common and severe forms of muscular dystrophy. It affects roughly 1 in 5,000 male births but sometimes affects females as well. In all cases, Duchenne is caused by mutations in the gene encoding for dystrophin, a protein muscles need to work properly. It is 100% fatal.
