Brugal 1888 La Ventanita Pop-Up Series at Aventura Mall

Aventura, FL – November 8, 2021 – Brugal 1888, a premium rum produced in the Dominican Republic, hosted a spirited tasting event celebrating its second La Ventanita location at the haute Aventura Mall.

Gathered around the distinguished blue and gold ventanita, guests chatted with Brugal 1888 ambassadors, danced to the rhythm of traditional Merengue, enjoyed rum and banana liqueur ice cream by Aubi & Ramsa, savored Guava & Cheese and Picadillo & Plantain pastelitos, and sipped on craft cocktails prepared by guest bartender Hector Acevedo of Spanglish Cocktail Bar + Kitchen. Hector served a specialty drink, Rum Diary, featuring the premium rum, strawberry balsamic reduction, vanilla soda, fresh citrus and nutmeg topped with edible flower, lemon and mint sprig. Two Brugal 1888 classics were also available: Don Nano’s Favorite with Brugal 1888 and a coconut water ice sphere, and La Ventanita, a Brugal 1888 and coffee-infused cocktail. As an evening of dancing, dominos and boozy ice cream concluded, guests left with a Brugal 1888 gift bag, including a take-home cocktail kit.

The Brugal 1888 La Ventanita will be set in the Center Court of Aventura Mall until November 14, 2021. Exciting events are available throughout the week such as Merengue dance lessons on Friday, November 12. On Saturday, November 13, Aventura Mall goers will enjoy an evening of elevated tasting sessions with Brugal 1888 ambassadors, craft cocktails prepared by a Miami-local guest bartender and more boozy ice cream from Aubi & Ramsa. Registration is free and guests receive a complimentary token for a coffee and pastelito during Cafecito Shop hours (12:00 – 3:00pm), or a token for a Brugal 1888 cocktail and pastelito during Rum Bar hours (4:00pm – 9:00pm).
