Miami, FL – July 27, 2021 – On Tuesday, July 27, developer PMG hosted a private reception at their coveted Waldorf Astoria Miami Experiential Sales Gallery in Downtown to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Miami’s incorporation, in partnership with the Downtown Arts + Science Salon (DASS) and Miami Dade College. From 7 – 8:30 p.m., guests were invited to attend a Forum event at Miami Dade College to talk about the evolution of the area with speakers including Dr. Paul George, the distinguished Miami Historian; Eileen Higgins, Miami-County Commissioner; Christine Rupp, Executive Director of the Dade Heritage Trust; Allan Shulman, the noted architect, University of Miami Professor and author of seminal works including “Miami Architecture.” Once the Forum concluded, guests were welcomed over to the 11,000 square foot Waldorf Astoria Miami Experiential Sales Gallery, where they indulged in light bites and toured one of the most iconic projects to make its mark in Downtown Miami. Since the Forum focused on the rich history of Downtown Miami, it was the perfect collaboration for the developer to host this event at the gallery to showcase the future of what is to come to the city with the timeless Waldorf Astoria brand making its debut in the coming years.
