Miami Beach, FL – May 20, 2021 – SOBEWFF® turned the BIG 2-0 this year, and they celebrated the only way we know how: with food, drink, stars, and THE CHAINSMOKERS! The Festival celebrated their 20th birthday in the best way possible: combining the crispy and yummy goodness of fried chicken with the charm of a James Beard Award-winning lifestyle goddess, the high-octane energy of Miami’s premier hospitality king and the electro-pop beats of our musical guests! The electric hosts for the birthday festivities were none other than the queen of entertaining herself, Martha Stewart, and Miami’s favorite hospitality mogul, David Grutman.

Together, Stewart and Grutman, known for their larger-than-life personalities brought their entertainment industry know-how and high energy personas to the party at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach! Musical guests, The Chainsmokers, have partnered with revered industry names like Coldplay, Halsey and Daya to bring year-round fan favorites. They’re known for infusing their fun-loving spirit into every key – and at this event, it was no different. Guests basked in the glory of Southern cooking as proud new Festival sponsor Popeyes® provided crispy bites for the Festival’s official birthday bash! Guests munched on crispy chicken sandwiches (yes, THAT fried chicken sandwich) and cheered to good health while sippin on eclectic cocktails by JAJA Tequila. The night ended on a sweet note, as guests nibbled on handmade treats by Dallas Wynne, chef/partner at one of Grutman’s newest eateries Toothfairy, known for her incredibly popular pastry programs at Stubborn Seed and Ariete.
