Libbie Mugrabi Celebrates “Libbie’s First Drop” Alongside Cat Marnell, Petra Khashoggi, Martina Basabe, & Alvin Valley at Faena Miami Beach

Miami Beach, FL – December 3, 2020 – Socialite Libbie Mugrabi celebrated Miami Art Week alongside titans of the art world at the Faena Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida on Thursday evening. In the hotel’s upstairs restaurant, Pao by Paul Qui, artists, gallery owners, and columnists enjoyed a three-course dinner of modern Asian cuisine as trance music pulsed throughout the room.

Ms. Mugrabi’s new line of hat merchandise, A Drop of Libbie, was on display at the entrance. Sir Ivan Wilzig was spotted with Washington Life publisher John Arundel. How to Murder Your Life author Cat Marnell entertained a table of friends in media, including Nate Freeman at Artnet. Former First Lady of Florida Carole Crist was overheard discussing how gallery owners are turning to bitcoin. Cartoonist and art columnist Anthony Haden-Guest danced throughout the night. Petra Khashoggi was seen with boyfriend Daniel Baker. At the end of the evening, Ms. Mugrabi and Mr. Haden-Guest climbed Damien Hirst’s golden unicorn statue, sold in 2014 at a charity event hosted by Leonardo DiCaprio for $6 million, on display at Pao. “Damien is a friend of mine,” Ms. Mugrabi told guests, pointing to a bracelet the artist gifted her. “He’d be so happy that we’re all having a magical evening.”
