Miami, FL – April 22, 2020 – DeliverLean has launched an expansive food drive initiative to collect non-perishable food items from South Florida homes in order to expand distribution locations with community partners so they can reach more families in need during the novel coronavirus pandemic. Anyone in the tri-county area can complete the form at www.deliverleancares.com and DeliverLean’s network of over 400+ drivers will pick up non-perishable items from individuals homes within 24 hours and redistribute them to multiple community drop locations in the tri-county area.

Continuing their extensive partnership with Alonzo Mourning and the Overtown Youth Center (OYC) where DeliverLean and OYC distribute over 1,500 meals a week, the program will now include additional non-perishable care packages in cooperation with Sysco Southeast Florida to anyone in Miami Dade County who is in need.

Beginning Monday, April 20 at Gibson Park, DeliverLean and OYC hosted a drive-thru or walk-up pick up. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the foreseeable future, anyone in need or food can stop by Gibson Park starting at 8:30 AM.
