The Betsy Hotel Supports Women Writers in Miami

Miami Beach, FL – February 12, 2020 – Four years and forty+ poets later, The Betsy Hotel is still the home of Supporting Women Writers in Miami, an organization started by poets Jen Karetnick and Catherine Esposito Prescott. In this program, poets from out of town are in residence in The Betsy Writers Room and then are joined by local poets for readings and celebrations that are free and open to the public. At this event, much loved local poet Carolina Hospital welcomed poet Terese Svoboda for an evening of conversation and work sharing. The pictures say it all!
