Toys for Boys Magazine Celebrates Soraya Abu Nabaa, David Candaux & Jorg Hyset at Gary Nader Art Centre

Miami, FL – December 2, 2019 – As Art Basel descended on the city this year, Toys for Boys Magazine hosted their annual kick off celebration with a hand-selected group of 72 guests. And as the name suggests, the evening was all about all of the luxury lifestyle publications favorite toys. In association with David Candaux timepieces, the evening began at Gary Nader Art Centre where the museum owner and toys for boys publisher Rafael Gill guided a personal tour of artist Soraya Abu Naba’a exhibition. The artist, who guided the tour alongside him, gave guests her personal notes on the journey to creating the collection. After the intimate experience, guests were swept away to doma, a new fine Italian dining experience in the heart of Wynwood. The sit down experience was a multi-course exploration of the restaurants cuisine. Paired with Encantadora , a new collection of agave-based spirits including a range of #tequila and #mezcal cocktails created by entrepreneur-cum-socialite, Alexa Iacovelli. Never before previewed, the spirits are set to launch in January. Intermingled in the space was a stunning art installation by another present-in-the-space artist, Jorg Hysek who’s time-inspired pieces were a beautiful nod to the David Candaux watches that punctuated the space in all their varying complications.
