UBS Hosts an Inclusive Capital Studio in Partnership with Village Capital at Art Basel Miami Beach
Miami Beach, FL – December 7, 2019 – UBS, in partnership with Village Capital, hosted an Inclusive Capital Studio at Art Basel Miami Beach to advance entrepreneurial growth by making capital more inclusive. The convening gathered an exclusive group of investors at the forefront of deploying innovative forms of capital that has begun to transform early-stage entrepreneurship, as well as UBS colleagues and clients interested in building a more inclusive capital ecosystem. The event featured opening remarks from Jamie Sears, Head of Community Affairs & Corporate Responsibility at UBS, a fireside chat with Arlan Hamilton (Backstage Capital), a panel with Carlos Antequera (Novel GP), Kesha Cash (Impact America Fund), Bahiyah Robinson (VC Include), and small group discussions on strategies to unlock more inclusive capital and change the status quo for underrepresented founders.
