YoungArts Miami Art Week Breakfast, Talk & Tour
Miami, FL – December 5, 2019 – National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) hosted its annual VIP Breakfast, Talk & Tour in celebration of Miami Art Week on December 5, 2019 with partners CULTURED Magazine, Nespresso and WOW MKTG. The morning began with a tour of Within Interdependence in the YoungArts Gallery by exhibition curator Deana Haggag and YoungArts Exhibitions Manager Luisa Munera, followed by an intimate breakfast in the iconic YoungArts Jewel Box.
YoungArts Board Chair Sarah Arison welcomed guests to the Jewel Box for an enlightening panel discussion moderated by Dejha Carrington, YoungArts Vice President of External Relations and Communications. Speakers Deana Haggag of USA Artists, YoungArts Vice President of Artistic Programs Lisa Leone and Helen Toomer of Stoneleaf Residency unpacked the friction and potential of adaptive reuse, transitional spaces and reimagined institutions for the arts community.
