David Grutman Kicks Off 7-Week Course at Florida International University with DJ Khaled

Miami, FL – October 22, 2019 – Just 48 hours after announcing the sale of the majority stake of his company Groot Hospitality to LIVE NATION, David Grutman added another title to his resume: Professor. Before a packed lecture hall at Florida International University’s Chaplin School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Grutman shared his story and kicked off a 7-week class complete with a photo step and repeat wall and Groot x FIU swag bags for the students. Before the class started, surprise guest DJ Khaled took to the mic to introduce Grutman, preaching to students about connections, relationships and respect, noting the importance of entrepreneurship.
