KAR Properties Hosts Exclusive Wine Tasting at 2000 Ocean

Hallandale Beach, FL – September 25, 2019 – New York-based developer Shahab Karmely of KAR Properties and Fortune Development Sales Group hosted a private wine tasting at the 2000 Ocean sales gallery. The evening opened with an exploration of the flavors of Sicily, where guests sampled premium wine selections presented by Stephan Cole, the in-house sommelier of Valentino Cucina Italiana. With over 20 years of experience as a world-class sommelier, Stephan specializes in international wines. The wine tasting highlighted Sicily’s Marsala, Bon Rye, Zibbibo, Passito di Pantelleria DOC 2016; Sur Sur, Grillo Sicilia DOC 2018; Chiaranda, Chardonnay, Contessa Entellina DOC 2016; Anthilia, Bianco, Sicilia DOC; and Lighea, Zibbibo, Moscato d’ Alessandria, all paired with a Sicilian arancicni with tomato puree, a bruschetta trio and ahi tuna crudo. Developer Shahab Karmely was joined by Amy Ballon, director of sales for 2000 Ocean at Fortune Development Sales Group; Mariela Hopen and Joyce Larkin of Fortune Development Sales Group; Shaun Osher, founder of CORE Real Estate; and Steve Snider of CORE Real Estate. The development and sales teams, along with brokers and press, experienced a sampling of fine wines while enjoying the impeccably-designed sales gallery, curated by KAR’s Italian design partner, Minotti.
