Miami, FL – April 26, 2025 – University of Miami has unveiled UHealth SoLé Mia — a groundbreaking new outpatient center opening in North Miami-Dade in Fall 2025.
This seven-story, 370,000-square-foot facility from the University of Miami Health System was thoughtfully designed to enhance recovery through its environment, incorporating natural light, calming music, healing gardens, and artwork inspired by South Florida’s beauty.
Patients will have access to top-tier care from renowned institutions like Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, and a new musculoskeletal program with the Hospital for Special Surgery, all within a space that prioritizes comfort, navigation ease, and sustainability.
Backed by decades of research on how design impacts healing, UHealth SoLé Mia offers a comprehensive range of specialties and state-of-the-art amenities like operating rooms, imaging suites, infusion chairs, and private consult spaces. The project, shaped with input from over 500 stakeholders, sets a new standard for compassionate, community-centered health care by creating a nurturing environment that supports not only patients, but families and staff as well.
