The Little Lighthouse Foundation’s Birthday of Service

Miami, FL – April 26, 2025 – The Little Lighthouse Foundation’s (“LLF”) 15th Birthday of Service, benefited over 500 students from Benjamin Franklin K-8 Center, a Title I school in North Miami!

These high-energy volunteers experienced a meaningful change through the creation of a Serenity Garden—a peaceful, permanent space that fosters mindfulness, emotional wellness, and calm. Volunteers and students worked side-by-side to install mulch, pavers, gravel, and plants to bring this vibrant garden to life.

Additional activations included Craft & Positivity Stations, where participants created kindness rocks, pinwheels, murals, and more—all filled with uplifting messages and led by LLF’s Kindest Club. Volunteer Stations offered hands-on gardening tasks and service activities. Food and beverages were provided by Joe’s Pizza, Subway, Pura Vida Miami, Icelandic Glacial, and LaCroix.

Community Partners included Grow Roots Miami, The Kindest Kid, and Seeds of Change.
