Reid Heidenry & Marko Gojanovic
Miami, FL – April 9, 2025 – From nightlife to luxury listings, Reid Heidenry and Marko Gojanovic turned friendship into a top-tier real estate partnership in the heart of Miami.
The dynamic duo’s journey began in 2008 when their paths crossed through Miami’s buzzing social scene. Reid was just starting in real estate, while Marko was a rising name in nightlife. “ I ended up getting him and his business partner, Michael Malone, one of their first rental properties, 1853 Jefferson, and we’ve been friends ever since,” shares Reid.
Their friendship quickly evolved into a business partnership rooted in deep local ties and complementary backgrounds—Reid, a former University of Miami track athlete turned real estate pro, and Marko, a former tennis player and hospitality entrepreneur with a vast network and an eye for opportunity. Together, they’ve built a powerhouse team, topping Sotheby’s in South Florida and making major waves in Miami’s ultra-competitive luxury market.
“After spending 12 years in hospitality and eight years working for a tech startup, I had built up a very extensive network and I was always looking for ways to monetize it,” shares Marko. “At the time, I had just opened a restaurant and beach club called Joia Beach with my partners, and I decided to get my real estate license because I knew so many people who had amazing properties in Miami.”
“I thought, ‘why am I not potentially selling them houses or their homes?’”
Their approach goes beyond just sales; they focus on relationships, lifestyle, and helping clients truly thrive in the Magic City. From breaking records to witnessing the city’s rapid evolution, Reid and Marko are bullish on Miami’s future—especially the booming waterfront and ultra-luxury spaces.
When asked about some of the highlights of their real estate career, Reid shared, “It’s always great to break a record and get a big number, but being a part of other people’s wins and helping them find places for themselves and their families has always been really rewarding. As a team, being ranked the #1 team at Sotheby’s in all of South Florida and top ten in Dade County in only our third year together was also a huge highlight.”
Marko adds, “We have had a few record-breaking sales and won some awards as a top team, but the most important thing for me is seeing growth, both in business and personally. The different dynamic of successful people I get to interact with and learn from is the most rewarding.”
As wellness, privacy, and top-tier amenities continue to dominate buyer demand, they stay ahead of trends while enjoying all that Miami has to offer—from padel courts and premier gyms to their favorite local restaurants and hidden gems across South Beach.

WRE: How did the two of you meet and then become business partners?
Reid Heidenry: Marko and I met around 2008. I was just starting in real estate and Marko was modeling and one of the new “it guys” in nightlife. I ended up getting him and his business partner, Michael Malone, one of their first rental properties, 1853 Jefferson, and we’ve been friends ever since.

WRE: What brought you both to Miami and how did you get into real estate?
RH: I moved from St. Louis to go to the University of Miami in 2002, where I was a high jumper on the track team and studied business. I moved to South Beach in 2006 after graduation, and with no money and no clear plan, I realized all my friends needed help getting places to live—college friends, models, bartenders, friends in nightlife, the younger South Beach crowd. So I got my real estate license and started there.
Marko Gojanovic: I came to Miami to pursue pro tennis after my college career at Clemson University, my coach at the time was based down here. After spending 12 years in hospitality and eight years working for a tech startup, I had built up a very extensive network and I was always looking for ways to monetize it. At the time, I had just opened a restaurant and beach club called Joia Beach with my partners, and I decided to get my real estate license because I knew so many people who had amazing properties in Miami. I thought, why am I not potentially selling them houses or their homes? I also just wanted to learn more about the industry, not knowing I wanted to be a full-time agent.

WRE: What are some of the highlights in your real estate career?
RH: There are a lot of big-number sales that most people would probably point to as the highlights, but I’ve met some of my closest friends in the world by helping them find their condos and houses. It’s always great to break a record and get a big number, but being a part of other people’s wins and helping them find places for themselves and their families has always been really rewarding. As a team, being ranked the #1 team at Sotheby’s in all of South Florida and top ten in Dade County in only our third year together was also a huge highlight.
MG: I would say that my first deal was $18.25 million, which was very special to me at the time and always will be. We have had a few record-breaking sales and won some awards as a top team, but the most important thing for me is seeing growth, both in business and personally. The different dynamic of successful people I get to interact with and learn from is the most rewarding.

WRE: What are your thoughts on the current luxury housing market and where do you see the next few years going?
RH: It blows my mind imagining what this city is going to look like in the next 5 years. Every day it seems there is something new, a new neighborhood, a new building. Miami has done a great job of evolving and attracting the best and brightest over the last few years. I think the demand for these limited waterfront houses is just going to keep going up. I’m also very excited to see the evolution of the South Beach Oceanfront starting at the Ritz up to the Soho House area. The buildings going in are going to be spectacular and add another layer of culture and luxury to our city.
MG: The current luxury market is very solid on the very high-end. We are seeing record-breaking prices and limited inventory and still a lot of buyers looking for properties they can’t find. The lower-end and luxury markets have stabilized a little bit, and the overall condo market has come down a lot as an abundance of inventory has hit the market and is still under construction, this excludes the extra luxury condo buildings.
I am very excited with the growth of Miami and I’m very bullish long-term. There are amazing buildings being built, and the city is transforming for the better. More and more people are moving here to stay, and the availability of the best waterfront land and homes is decreasing.

WRE: What are current trends that buyers are looking for?
RH: Health and wellness is big. I don’t think you’ll see many houses being built without an infrared sauna, cold plunge, and gym area. If you’ve got the outdoor space, a padel or pickleball court is also in high demand for buyers now.
MG: Definitely having amenities is a plus, whether it’s in a building or a luxury home. The more space, the better. Privacy is super important; there’s an extreme amount of wealth that has moved down here, and they want privacy and safety for their families.

WRE: What are some of your favorite places and things in Miami?
RH: Two of my favorite restaurants right now are Sparrow and Casa Madera. Cote is also incredible. I play a lot of Padel with friends. Reserve is the best outdoor court, arguably in the world, and Sunset Padel is by far and away the best indoor court.
MG: As Reid mentioned, we are both active Padel players and love Sunset Padel, Reserve, and Padel x. I love Sunset, Harbor, and all the amazing restaurants and coffee shops around there. It’s the perfect place to take meetings and meet up with friends. I’m at Anatomy every day, so I have to say it’s definitely one of my favorite places, especially the spa. Since I have a one-and-a-half-year-old daughter, my wife and I like to take her to different parks around South Beach—South of Fifth and by Perez Art Museum.

WRE: Any under the radar places you recommend?
RH: For a local restaurant on South Beach, I love the neighborhood spot Semilla. I’m addicted to the lunch at Avo in Sunset Harbour, and the two places I find myself at the most for a drink or dinner are Harbour Club and The Standard Grill.
