Despite a double bogey on his final hole, Patrick Reed fired a 5-under 67 on a blustery Friday afternoon rat Trump® National Doral Miami to lead the LIV Golf Miami field by two strokes—his first solo lead in a regular-season LIV event.

Reed was nearly flawless for 17 holes and one of only nine players to finish under par, as firm greens and heavy wind sent scores soaring. With 36 holes left on the challenging Blue Monster, Reed knew the battle had just begun: “It’s a freaking eternity.”
