Miami, FL – March 15, 2025 – Plans for 1600 Edgewater, a 33-story tower, have been revealed in a new filing to Miami’s Urban Development Review Board.
Designed by Kobi Karp Architecture & Interior Design, the 381-foot building aims to blend Edgewater’s vibrant culture with influences from the Bay, Wynwood, and Miami. It will feature 282 residential units (including 20 affordable units), 6,615 square feet of commercial space, and 328 parking spots in an 8-story garage.
Developed by 1600 NE 2nd Avenue, LLC, reportedly tied to the Sabet Group, the project is already in construction permitting and awaiting FAA approval. The site, formerly home to Miami Cash Register, is progressing swiftly, with a utilities agreement completed.
The Urban Development Review Board hearing is set for March 19.
