Miami, FL – March 8, 2025 – Shining a light on local women artists in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood is crucial for amplifying the diverse voices that often go underrepresented in the art world. On International Women’s Day, Museum of Graffiti co-founder Allison Freidin assembled a group of female creators for a dinner in partnership with Jack Daniel’s. The dinner took place at Rosemary’s, Wynwood’s vibrant new farm-to-table destination, named in honor of the owner’s mother, Rosemary Suarez, whose passion for fresh ingredients and simple, heartfelt cooking continues to inspire the restaurant’s philosophy. The new restaurant boasts 3,500 square feet of outdoor space that has at least one-third of it dedicated to growing tomato vines, basil plants, rows of lettuce and stalks of eggplants. Jack Daniel’s will have a special cocktail entitled the “Tuttle Highball” on the menu at Rosemary’s for the entire month of March in celebration of Women’s History Month, with a portion of proceeds being donated to Miami’s Lotus House, the largest women’s homeless shelter in the country. The name of the drink clearly giving a nod to the “Mother of Miami” herself, Julia Tuttle.
