Miami, FL – February 3, 2025 – A 42-story tower is set to rise next to a historic Miami church after gaining county approval.

Miami-Dade commissioners have approved a zoning application for the new high-rise, which will feature 462 apartments, 552 parking spaces, and over 14,000 square feet dedicated to the Trinity Episcopal congregation.

The project, a partnership between Key International and the Diocese of Southeast Florida, will be built on church-owned land under a 99-year lease, with plans to preserve the existing historic church.

As part of the approval under the county’s Rapid Transit zoning plan, the developer committed to building two enhanced pedestrian crosswalks at a cost of $750,000 and contributing $250,000 for repairs to the Adrienne Arsht Metromover Station, aiming to improve safety and transit access in the area.
