WRE News: Pharrell Williams Debuts Nami Nori & Matsuyoi in the Miami Design District

Miami, FL – January 4, 2025 – Miami Design District is now home to Nami Nori and Matsuyoi, a collaboration between Pharrell and the team behind one of New York’s top hand-roll restaurants.

Opened in December, Nami Nori offers beachy vibes, bright interiors, and a menu of signature temaki rolls like X.O. scallop and spicy crab dynamite, alongside small plates such as furikake fries. Just upstairs, Matsuyoi provides a more intimate, moody experience with a seasonal multi-course menu centered on temaki, a 10-seat chef’s counter, and inventive cocktails like the Indigo Blue and Get Lucky.

With design elements ranging from Miami-inspired airiness to Japanese woodblock art influences, these restaurants deliver both style and substance.

As Pharrell’s first venture with Launchpad Hospitality, this marks an exciting new chapter for Miami dining.
