Miami, FL – January 27, 2025 – In a major real estate deal, the former Little Farm Trailer Park in El Portal was sold for $70.5 million to Flow, a Miami-based real estate company founded by ex- WeWork CEO Adam Neumann.
The 16-acre property, cleared in 2016 after one of Miami’s largest evictions, has remained empty amid legal and environmental challenges. While the land is zoned for up to 2,400 residential units as part of a mixed-use project, Flow has yet to disclose its plans, stating only a commitment to collaborating with the community and realizing the site’s potential.
The property’s history is fraught with controversy, from lawsuits over evictions to alleged fraud involving the previous owners. Adding to its challenges, the area faces infrastructure issues, including outdated septic systems that require costly upgrades.
Despite these hurdles, the sale marks a turning point, potentially paving the way for development on a long-stalled piece of Miami real estate.
