YoungArts Miami Art Week Breakfast & Guided Studio Tour

Miami, FL – December 5, 2024 – YoungArts hosted its annual VIP Breakfast and Guided Studio Tour in partnership with Art Basel Miami Beach on December 5, 2024. The arts community gathered on the YoungArts Plaza for breakfast before heading into the YoungArts Gallery for a guided studio tour. YoungArts Board Chair, Sarah Arison, greeted guests before MoMA PS1 Director, Connie Butler, led a walkthrough of the studios of artists Nina Osoria Ahmadi, Priscilla Aleman, Dani Amaro and Alberto Checa.

Afterward, guests were invited to the YoungArts Jewel Box to experience Chorus (Oculus #2) & Otha Turner’s Final Picnic, two video works by iconic multidisciplinary creative and past YoungArts guest artist Ralph Lemon, never before shown in the gallery context. Notable guests included Daveed Baptiste, Kristy Edmunds, Aaron Glickman, Jodine Gordon, Rosie Gordon-Wallace, Steffi Hessler, Elizabeth Hoelle, Lily Liebel, Patricia Marshall, Kara Moore, Dr. Joan Morgan, Ben Rodriguez-Cubeñas, James Allister Sprang, Cornelius Tulloch and Tiffany Zabludowicz among others.
