Miami, FL – December 21, 2024 – Colombia continues to dominate the Miami real estate market, logging the most international web searches on MiamiRealtors.com last month, according to MIAMI Association of Realtors.

Colombian house hunters accounted for 11.2% of all international searches in November, marking the 32nd consecutive month the country has placed in the top two. Bogotá led global city searches, with Buenos Aires, Madrid, and Mumbai following closely. Meanwhile, Russia ranked second overall, with 8.1% of searches, and India climbed to third, solidifying its place as a rising player in Miami’s property market.

India’s growing interest, with 6.8% of searches, underscores the city’s international appeal. “It speaks to the diversity of countries that are searching for Miami real estate,” said Gus Fonte, the association’s chairman.

Florida remains the top U.S. state for international home buyers, with 47% of Florida’s foreign purchases last year concentrated in Miami and its surrounding areas. Domestically, New York and Atlanta led U.S.-based searches, further cementing Miami’s reputation as a global and national hotspot for real estate.
