Miami, FL – November 18, 2024 – Kenneth Griffin has made another mark on Miami’s art scene with a $10 million gift to the Pérez Art Museum Miami.
The donation aims to support the museum’s collection and establish a gallery named after Griffin, who recently relocated his hedge fund Citadel to Miami from Chicago. Griffin’s philanthropy extends beyond Miami, with significant contributions to major U.S. museums and a robust record of funding political causes, donating $75 million this election cycle.
At the museum’s annual Art of the Party gala celebrating the gift, PAMM also honored artist Delcy Morelos with the $50,000 Pérez Prize for her evocative earth-based installations. The event unveiled the Kenneth C. Griffin Gallery, the museum’s largest exhibition space, where future displays are planned.
