Miami, FL – November 3, 2024 – Family Fest returned to the Institute of Contemporary Art, Miami, in partnership with the Miami Design District. The event was a vibrant celebration of creativity and community, offering an afternoon full of activities, performances, and surprises, rain or shine. The first 200 families to arrive were treated to exclusive swag bags, and the day was filled with fun and entertainment. Attendees enjoyed a whimsical live-action storytelling of The Lost Mermaid in the ICA’s sculpture garden, as well as a mesmerizing bubble performance by HappyLab. Families could get creative with art-making activities, face painting, and music and movement sessions in the galleries. The sculpture garden’s Photo Booth provided fun photo ops, while the PATH: Preserving, Archiving & Teaching Hiphop, Inc. DJ kept the energy high. The Miami Design District’s special offers included bookmaking with Dalezine, art-making at State of Kid and C’est Chou, and discounts at Aesop, Zadig & Voltaire, and several popular restaurants like Michael’s Genuine, Tacombi, and Sadelle’s.
