WRE News: JDS Development and GV Development Plan 29-Story Luxury Condo on Miami Beach

Miami Beach, FL – October 29, 2024 – Michael Stern’s JDS Development Group and Gianluca Vacchi’s GV Development have proposed a new residential tower rising approx. 400 ft tower next door to Monad Terrace on Miami Beach.

JDS and GV plan to redevelop the Bay Garden Manor property at 1250 West Avenue, a 1964-built condo building on a 1.9-acre lot, where it has already acquired nearly all units. With proposals to rezone the site for increased height and density, the development groups seek city approval to transform the bayfront location into a high-rise luxury residence with 100 units, a 180-seat restaurant, and an adjoining garage.

The planned luxury tower, designed by Kobi Karp, would rise to 29 stories if approved, requiring both planning and zoning changes from the Miami Beach Planning Board.
