Kenneth C. Griffin Surgical Tower Grand Opening at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital

Miami, FL – October 22, 2024 – Providing Miami with its newest bragging right, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital hosted the grand opening of its Kenneth C. Griffin Surgical Tower, the most state-of-the art pediatric surgical facility in the country.

The five story, 131,000 square-foot LEED-certified facility is outfitted to perform even the most complex pediatric surgeries, all made possible by the generosity of Citadel Founder and CEO Kenneth C. Griffin with a historic gift of $25 million to transform the hospital’s services for generations.

Guests witnessed the ribbon cutting onsite and received a firsthand look at the innovative facility.
