Miami, FL – October 30, 2024 – Istituto Marangoni Miami (IMM) hosted an insightful conversation with new Advisory Board Member Karolina Kurkova, who discussed the future of fashion and the industry’s evolving landscape.

Moderated by IMM Executive Vice President Eva Hughes, the event explored how innovation, creativity, and leadership are shaping the fashion world. Kurkova emphasized the importance of being open-minded, stating, “You always have to be open to new ideas and humble enough to listen to the audience; that’s key to being a great designer, stylist, or entrepreneur.”

In recognition of her impact on fashion and entrepreneurship, Kurková received an Honorary Master’s Degree in Fashion & Luxury Brand Management from Istituto Marangoni Miami. IMM Founder and CEO Hakan Baykam noted, “With her impressive career and unique take on the fashion world, she’ll bring a fresh perspective that’s sure to inspire our students at The Miami School of Fashion & Design and open up exciting new opportunities for them.”
