Miami, FL – October 15, 2024 – Chanda Carroll has teamed up with PRINCESS Jewelry to bring disco back with the Chanda x Princess Collection. “I’ve always had a fascination with disco balls, and they perfectly align with my life motto: there’s always something worth celebrating,” shares Chanda. “As an optimistic and enthusiastic person, I believe in embracing the joy in every moment.”

The collection, seamlessly blending the glitter, shine and joy of the disco ball with the powerful symbolism behind stones like malachite — protection, abundance, harmony, and intuition. The collection features a range of pieces, from striking rings to bold necklaces, perfectly crafted to stand out in every occasion.

For Chanda, there are two pieces she holds beloved: The Disco Ball Ring and the Martini Earrings. “What I love most about these pieces is the deeper meaning they carry: Both are engraved with messages meant to serve as daily reminders of why life should be celebrated to the fullest.”

WRE: Tell us about your jewelry brand.

Chanda Carroll: This collection is the result of a jewelry collaboration, where I was able to bring to life some designs I’ve cherished for a long time. I’ve always had a deep love for jewelry, often customizing pieces to reflect my personal style, and that passion naturally evolved into the idea of creating a capsule collection. This collection is a blend of designs I’ve been collecting and refining over time, each piece capturing elements that are meaningful to me.

WRE: What inspired the disco theme for this collection?

CC: I’ve always had a fascination with disco balls, and they perfectly align with my life motto: there’s always something worth celebrating. As an optimistic and enthusiastic person, I believe in embracing the joy in every moment—whether it’s an intimate gathering of two, a girls’ trip, or a big celebration. For me, life is a gift, and the disco ball represents the vibrancy, fun, and sparkle that come with celebrating all of life’s moments, big and small.

WRE: How did the collaboration with PRINCESS come about?

CC: I’ve been a friend of the house for several years now, and the collaboration evolved quite naturally. As I’ve mentioned, I always had a habit of customizing the pieces I purchased, adding personal touches. That eventually sparked the idea of creating my own collection, bringing those personalized designs to a wider audience through this collaboration.

WRE: What are some of the stones and elements used in this collection?

CC: For this collection, we used gold, diamonds, and malachite mainly.  I specifically chose malachite not just for its striking beauty, but also for its powerful properties. It’s known to symbolize protection, abundance, harmony, and intuition, among other things, making it a perfect fit for the energy I wanted this collection to convey.

WRE: Which piece from the collection is your personal favorite, and why?

CC: I actually have two personal favorites from the collection: the disco ball ring and the martini earring. What I love most about these pieces is the deeper meaning they carry. Both are engraved with messages meant to serve as daily reminders of why life should be celebrated to the fullest. There’s something special about wearing jewelry that not only shines outwardly but also inspires inwardly. Every time I glance at them, they bring me an instant sense of joy, reminding me to find delight in both the big moments and the small, everyday celebrations.
