WRE News: Wynwood Eatery Beaker & Gray Announces Closure After 9 Years

Miami, FL – June 22, 2024 – Beaker & Gray, the pioneering Wynwood restaurant and bar, is closing after nine years.

Beaker & Gray, known for its shareable plates, brunches, and cocktails, opened in 2015 in a former ice factory and quickly became a popular destination in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. The establishment played a significant role in Wynwood’s transformation from an artist-centric area to a hub for upscale dining and development. The 3,600-square-foot space, with its New York-inspired design, drew locals and tourists alike, especially for its Sunday brunches and late-night happy hours.

Chef and co-owner Brian Nasajon, who founded Beaker & Gray with mixologist Ben Potts, expressed pride in their contribution to Wynwood’s growth and thanked their supporters.

The restaurant’s last service will be on June 30, with a farewell featuring their popular $5 happy hour from 4:30-7:30 pm, Wednesday to Sunday.
