Miami, FL – April 22, 2024 – Happy Earth Day: Miami’s eagerly anticipated The Underline trail Phase Two has finally arrived, bringing with it a lush green haven for urban dwellers and nature enthusiasts alike. Stretching over 2.14 miles under the elevated Metrorail tracks, this $140 million project has transformed once-neglected terrain into a vibrant space buzzing with activity even before its official opening. As construction fences came down, the trail quickly became a magnet for joggers, cyclists, skaters, and dog-walkers, all reveling in the verdant surroundings. Phase Two seamlessly connects with the initial Brickell phase, weaving through Brickell, The Roads, and the Vizcaya Metrorail Station before culminating at Southwest 19th Avenue in Silver Bluff. Unlike its urban counterpart in Brickell, Phase Two immerses users in a verdant paradise, courtesy of thousands of new native trees and plants.
