Miami, FL – April 24, 2024 – A recent report from Redfin Real Estate lists the priciest US residence sold in Q1 of 2024 was at the Four Seasons Surfside. In March, the penthouse at The Four Seasons at The Surf Club in Surfside snagged the top spot, selling for $48 million. The residence, sprawling over 7,000 square feet with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, boasts access to Five-Star amenities at the Four Seasons Residences. According to Redfin, luxury home prices surged by 9% year over year across the US, twice the rate of non-luxury properties. The affluent’s preference for high-end homes, often purchased outright, kept demand strong despite rising mortgage rates. Despite a 13% rise in luxury home supply and a 20% surge in new listings nationwide, prices remain high due to limited pre-pandemic inventory.
