WOT Graduation, Career & Scholarship Day at Jungle Island

Miami, FL – April 24, 2024 – The Women of Tomorrow® Mentor & Scholarship Program (WOT) celebrated its 27th year of mentoring, hosting the Annual Graduation Luncheon on Wednesday at Jungle Island in Miami. The ballroom was packed with 700 attendees, including graduating seniors, school coordinators, and mentors from over 110 South Florida public high schools in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. A total of one hundred sixty-two thousand dollars ($162,000) in higher education scholarships were awarded to 39 graduating seniors, bringing the lifetime total of Women of Tomorrow Scholarships awarded close to $9 million. For the first time, the luncheon featured a Graduation, Career, and Scholarship Day. The Career Fair included 19 local businesses and organizations that offered job , internship, and higher education opportunities.
