SC Johnson CEO Fisk Johnson Tests for Microplastics & Leads Plastic Pollution Clean-Up Mission in Miami with 4Ocean

Miami, FL – March 28, 2024 – On Monday, March 25th, SC Johnson’s Chairman & Ceo H. Fisk Johnson tested for microplastics and led a plastic waste clean-up mission with 4Ocean in Key Biscayne, Florida.  Mr. Johnson was joined by marine biologist & actress Christina Ochoa, wildlife veterinarian Dr. Evan Antin and 4Ocean Ambassador Hofit Golan. 4 Ocean took the SC Johnson volunteers out to the Florida Keys to pick up waste on the beaches and in the mangroves. Collectively, the group filled a boat with 7 large bins of plastics and other waste. Mr. Johnson and SC Johnson are working hard to get federal regulation to improve plastic recycling and keep plastic from entering the environment. Through the creation of The Blue Paradox immersive exhibit in Chicago’s Museum of Science & Industry, SC Johnson is also educating the public on the ocean plastic pollution crisis.
