The 67-story multifaceted structure, located in Brickell, will house 791 condominiums adorned with the distinguished Mercedes-Benz Places branding—a design concept born from the fusion of emotional appeal and intellectual allure, guided by Mercedes-Benz’s “sensual purity” philosophy and the creative touch of SHoP Architects from New York. The iconic structure, named 1 Southside Park, goes beyond residential spaces, incorporating 200,000 square feet for offices and health/wellness facilities, along with a 174-key Treehouse Hotel. With a commitment to sustainability, the project features electric vehicle charging stations and a dedicated in-house vehicle fleet. JDS Development’s recalibration plan aims for fewer units but larger sizes, fostering modern convenience and sustainability. Construction, initiated in mid-2022, is on track for completion in 2027, offering condos starting from the mid-$500,000s.
