Miami, FL – February 7, 2024 – Trynco celebrated its 1st year anniversary and kicked off its inaugural Investor Summit Series on February 7th in Miami. Trynco was founded with a mission to catalyze and empower the adoption of emerging technologies. In 2023, its inaugural year, Trynco hosted 21 in person events with attendees >3,000 in total. Trynco was founded by Amila Karunaratne who is a serial entrepreneur with a background in healthcare and finance. The Inaugural Trynco Investor Summit Series was moderated by Praveen Yalamanchi who is a serial entrepreneur with a background in blockchain and AI technologies and technology investments. Praveen opened the evening event with introducing the keynote speaker Jeff Ransdell, founding partner of Fuel Venture Capital and opening for the attendees who were tech founders to introduce themselves with a 60sec introduction. Unlike other tech events, this made it more engaging and the speakers got to know the audience. Jeff Ransdell discussed about his finance career journey from working in institutional banking industry to venture capital and his move to Miami from NYC. Similar to Trynco’s founder Amila, who came to Miami in 2017 after a career in Wall Street, Jeff too has seen various stages of Miami tech ecosystem. Both are actively involved in grassroots movement of the Miami tech ecosystem to make it a more competitive one not just in the US but globally. Tynco’s Inaugural Investor Summit Series had a stellar investor panel, which included Yasmine Morrison, Venture Capital Director of Florida Funders, David Rankin, Chief Operating Officer of Draper Goren Blockchain Ventures, Ina Foalea, Investment Director of Scale AI, and Luba Leshiva, Founding Partner of Palumni VC. While both Yasmine and David are focused on early stage blockchain startup investing, Luba focuses more on graduates of the Palantir AI program and Ina focuses on investing in verticals for Scale AI.
