Miami, FL – February 17, 2024 – Look out Coconut Grove: RedFarm is coming in hot. From NYC to the MIA, China Grill Management’s Jeffrey Chodorow and Miami partner Alex Pirez have teamed up to open a locale of the iconic Chinese concept restaurant in the Commodore Plaza in Coconut Grove. RedFarm currently has locations throughout the East coast: One in Austin, 2 in NYC, and its latest opening in Miami. RedFarm opened in 2011 at 529 Hudson Street in the West Village, NYC. Located on the parlor floor of an 1828 brownstone, above a basement laundromat, the restaurant from dim sum master chef Joe Ng and Chinese food expert Ed Schoenfeld aimed to be one of the most exciting and influential restaurants in the country. The restaurant, opening its doors last weekend in Coconut Grove, was welcomed by the local community including Derek Jeter.

WRE: What are some signature dishes at RedFarm?

AP: Our classic combination of a Chinese traditional egg roll has become an instant classic. RedFarm’s unique interpretation of the classic Chinese Pecking Duck is also a favorite of mine. Pac-Man Dumplings and our Spicy Crispy Beef are always crowd pleasers.
