WRE News: Design Miami/ 2023 Returns December 6th to the 10th

Miami, FL – November 3, 2023 – Design Miami 2023, running from December 6th to 10th, marks a pivotal moment in its history, nestled between the triumph of its inaugural Paris event and the upcoming 20th-anniversary celebration. This year promises an even more exhilarating experience, as the fair evolves beyond its mid-century European and antique furniture roots with the direction of curatorial director Acarnick. Design Miami/ 2023 embraces the theme “Where We Stand,” aiming to spotlight design inspired by place, identity, and heritage, all while exploring the role design plays in reflecting and responding to our ever-changing world. Visitors can expect a captivating entrance designed by London-based artist Lara Bohinc, who has been honored with the Miami design district’s Design Commission. Her creation, “Spirit,” a magnificent ballooning sculpture, will set the tone for the event.
