WRE News: Highland Park Miami: A $1 Billion Healthcare Transformation

Miami FL – October 1, 2023 – Black Salmon Capital and Allen Morrisco are embarking on a massive $1 billion mixed-use project called Highland Park Miami, set to transform Miami’s healthcare landscape. Highland Park Miami will encompass 500,000 square feet of medical-related office space, 1,000 residential units, a 150-room hotel, and ample green spaces. The expansive development will occupy 7 acres of land located at 800 Northwest 14th Street, strategically situated between the Miami River and State Road 836. Upon completion, Highland Park Miami will extend the boundaries of Miami’s Health District, solidifying its status as the second-largest medical district in the United States, trailing only behind Houston. The district plays a pivotal role in Miami’s healthcare ecosystem, housing key institutions like Jackson Health, UMiami Medicine, and the VA Healthcare System, among others. The master plans and designs for the project are entrusted to the renowned architecture firm Arquitectonica Srchitecture. The project is set to commence preliminary site clearing later this year.
