Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Diamond Ball at Loews Miami Beach

Miami Beach, FL – October 28, 2023 – Nicklaus Children’s Hospital hosted its 16^th annual Diamond Ball gala with a Roaring Twenties theme! Presented by Mario Murgado and Murgado Automotive Group, the evening was full of glitz and glamour as over 650 guests enjoyed a gourmet dinner, a live auction featuring once-in-a-lifetime experiences, a dance party, and a Speakeasy. The highlight of the evening was the story of one patient family who shared their emotional journey, having gone through three cancer diagnoses in the family in 3 years. Nicklaus Children’s treated all three children, Kaylee, Keanu and Kassem, and they are all cancer free today! The event raised record funds for the future of pediatric care, which includes state-of-the-art surgical care in the new Kenneth C. Griffin Surgical Tower and advancements in care and research through the hospital’s multidisciplinary healthcare institutes for the brain, heart, orthopedics, and cancer.
