Miami Beach, FL – September 21, 2023 – Miami Beach City Manager Alina Hudak is proposing a new tenant for the iconic Nikki Beach Miami location when the lease expires in 2026: Boucher Brothers and Major Food Group. The proposed $26 million proposed renovation promises to transform the property into a multifaceted attraction. In a partnership with Major Food Group, Boucher Brothers plans to introduce Sadelle’s Cafe on the Beach, a Japanese steakhouse and Mediterranean restaurant and a culinary boutique,. Other key features include a luxurious pool area, a comprehensive wellness center and spa, a dedicated “kids corner” for family-friendly activities, Japanese steakhouse, Mediterranean restaurant, culinary boutique, and a vibrant beach concession area. The final decision rests on the City Commission during a meeting scheduled for September 27. Amongst the four bidders for the site, Boucher Brothers emerged as the frontrunner in the 10-year lease category, offering the city annual payments of at least $4 million or 10% of gross operating revenue, with a 3% annual increase.
