WRE News: Brooklyn’s Roberta’s Pizzeria to Make Florida Debut at Miami Beach’s 72 Park in 2024

Miami, FL – September 1, 2023 – Robertas Pizza, the renowned Brooklyn-based pizzeria, is making its Florida debut at 72 park Miami Beach.The expansion is part of the luxury condo project developed by Lefferts Investments, a real estate firm with strong ties to both Miami and New York City. The eagerly anticipated Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand restaurant will occupy over 3,000 square feet of prime ground-floor retail space at 580 72nd Street and offer the same beloved dishes that have made Roberta’s a Brooklyn institution, including favorites like the Margherita, Bee Sting, and the Famous Original pizza.While this marks the first permanent establishment in Florida, Roberta’s briefly dipped its toes into South Florida in 2017 with a successful six-month pop-up in the Miami Design District.Roberta’s joins a growing list of New York restaurants that have expanded to South Florida during the pandemic, including Michelin-starred Cote Miami, Joes Pizza Nyc, Major Food Group’s Carbone Fine Food and Sadelle’s, and the recent addition of Keith McNally and Stephen Starr’s Parisian-style brasserie, Pastis_Miami, in Wynwood this year.Roberta’s plans to open its doors in Miami early 2024.
